The taxonomy, distribution, or natural history of comatulid crinoids (featherstars) in Vanuatu. The primary purpose of this study was to collect a target group of these crinoids to be used in molecular phylogenetic studies to assess their taxonomic status. The intended outcome of this study was to review species-level taxonomy and subsequently create an internet guide to all.
Regional framework to assess the regional monitoring indicators that measure the status of managed conservation areas set aside under the Micronesia Challenge. The tool allows you to see the monitoring progress and learn more about the monitoring data collected across the region.
The Funafuti Conservation Area project has been relatively successful, therefore this report documents the lessons learned as well as providing a useful model for similar marine conservation projects at other sites within the country and around the region.

Sharks and rays are facing increasing anthropogenic pressure globally, including in the Pacific. However, data on their status and biodiversity are lacking for many Pacific Large Ocean Island States. This study aimed to construct a species checklist for the sharks and rays occurring in the Solomon Islands, review the human interactions with these species, and present a synthesis of their conservation status.
